Twerking, is a popular urban term used to describe rump shaking, or explicit dancing. I’m sure a group of school kids in San Diego will never forget how to tweak. Thirty-three student from Scripps Ranch High School in San Diego were punished for using school equipment to make a low budget hip hop, rap, tweak style music video.

In their honor supporters have created the “#freethetwerkteam” hashtag on twitter. It has been said that these students may miss prom and risk not graduating due to there booty shaking and poppin it on a hand stand.

If you sometimes find new rap music or rap music in general offensive you are not alone. In fact a familiar family name was livid at recent song lyrics from rapper Lil Wayne.

The remix to Futures “Karate Chop” single, which was released in February, is what has Lil Wayne in the hot seat with the Till family. However, according to MissInfo.com the New Orleans Hot Boy wrote an apology letter to the Till family.

The letter is in response to the Till’s demand for an apology. They even threatened to contact Wayne’s endorsor wk-rev_02-17-13bSMMountain Dew. “Moving forward, I will not use or reference Emmett Till or the Till family in my music, especially in an inappropriate manner,” he wrote. “I will not be performing the lyrics that contain that reference live and have removed them from my catalogue.”

In the song Wayne raps, “Beat the p—y up like Emmett Till,” in reference to the 1955 fatal assault on the civil rights figure. he continued “I have tremendous respect for those who paved the way for the liberty and opportunities that African-Americans enjoy.”

While fans patiently await the release of Pusha T’s ‘My Name is My Name’ rap album, the Virginia Beach rapper has already titled the follow up.

‘King Push,’ is the name chosen for Pusha T’s second solo album. He also mentioned that there will be no features on the compilation.
